General Manager / Deputy General Manager

Position:- General Manager / Deputy General Manager - Business Development - CRAMS [Nutraceuticals, Hospital care, Hygiene & Personal care]

Positions Reporting:- Manager / Dy. Manager / Asst. Manager – Liaison and Co-ordination

Work Location:- Hyderabad

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for generating business for Contract Manufacturing/Co-packing/Private label to ensure that there is optimum utilization of the Capacity
  2. Interacting with potential business partners on a regular basis to identify business opportunities
  3. Ensure that the clients are provided with the necessary information regarding the manufacturing process at Sarvotham
  4. Be single point of contact to the client until the contract is awarded by the client
  5. Follow up for preparation of the necessary costing of the products for the purpose of quotation to the client
  6. Co-ordinate with the Commercial Head at the Corporate with respect to the pricing Viagra of the contract.
  7. Provide the top management with necessary strategic inputs regarding the contract manufacturing business
  8. Co-ordinate with the Plant Heads on a regular basis to ensure that the contract schedule is planned in accordance to the availability of capacity
  9. Provide necessary guidance and support for the purpose of Liaison and co-ordination with various external agencies
  10. To meet with existing clients and customers to understand any additional products that the company can manufacture.
  11. Participate in decision making committees as and when required and provide the related inputs
  12. Co-ordinate with the Research and Development Team to ensure that the products for which R&D was sought has been developed accordingly
  13. Participate in seminars, forums, etc for gaining knowledge and identify and recommend training programs for subordinates

Job Specifications:

  1. Over 15 years of experience in FMCG (Nutraceuticals)/ Pharma industry-OTC, Personal care of which atleast 2 years was spent in dealing with contract manufacturers on behalf of the FMCG / Pharma-OTC company
  2. Graduation in Chemical Engineering/ Pharmacy and Post Graduation in Management (desirable)
  3. Knowledge of contract terms and conditions
  4. Good Sales Management Skills
  5. Good Negotiation Skills
